We assist applicants based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait City, Muscat, Manama, as well as across India. Many of our enquiries come from professionals and business owners already living in the Gulf who want a self-sponsored base inside the Kingdom.
Our role is to convert the program's rules into a clear, executable plan — and to match you to the right tier before you spend anything.
Saudi Premium Residency runs on two direct-pay tiers: a renewable limited-duration permit at roughly SAR 100,000 per year, and a one-time unlimited (permanent) permit at roughly SAR 800,000 that is never renewed. The category-based routes instead carry a standard government processing fee of about SAR 4,000.
Use those as ranges, not promises — the figure that applies depends entirely on which tier fits your profile. A talent-based applicant and a property owner pay on completely different bases. The first thing we do is establish which tier you actually qualify for, so the cost conversation is real rather than hypothetical. Find out where you stand — free assessment.
Five category-based products sit alongside the contribution tiers: Special Talent, Gifted, Investor, Entrepreneur and Real Estate Owner. Each grants Premium Residency on a different qualifying basis — a salary band and approved employer for Special Talent, documented achievement for Gifted, capital and job creation for Investor, venture stage for Entrepreneur, and developed property ownership for Real Estate Owner.
The practical question is which door fits your file. A senior executive on an approved contract follows a very different route from a founder or a property owner. We map your profile against all five before recommending one — and we will tell you honestly if none of them fits this year. Message us on WhatsApp.
The honest note. Saudi Premium Residency is residence, not citizenship — there is no path to a Saudi passport, and the permit does not give visa-free travel beyond Saudi exit and re-entry. A separately reported ultra-high-net-worth track and a superyacht-owner pathway have been discussed in the press, but no official launch is confirmed as of June 2026, so we treat them as exploratory only and do not quote them as available. Fees move and are tier-dependent — every figure here carries its as-of date for that reason.
The Special Talent tier is salary-band based, broadly covering monthly pay from around SAR 14,000 up to SAR 80,000 depending on the role, and it requires an employment contract with an approved entity plus an employer recommendation; it grants a renewable five-year permit. The Investor tier asks for roughly SAR 7 million invested into economic activity and around ten jobs created within two years.
The trade-off is clear: Special Talent suits salaried specialists and senior executives, while Investor suits people deploying real capital into the Saudi economy. Special Talent and start-up Entrepreneur routes also carry a Saudization (Nitaqat) exemption — a meaningful operational benefit. We will tell you which basis your file actually supports, even if the honest answer is "build it first."
All criteria are set by the Premium Residency Center and are subject to change.
Saudi Premium Residency gives self-sponsored residence with no Saudi sponsor required, the right to sponsor family, the right to own property and conduct business, exemption from expat dependent fees, and freedom to exit and re-enter the Kingdom without a separate visa. It does not grant Saudi citizenship and is not a route to one.
For Gulf-based professionals and business owners, the appeal is independence from an employer tie inside Saudi Arabia and a stable base in the Kingdom's fast-growing economy. The program issued 8,074 premium residency permits in 2024, with more than 40,000 applications submitted between January 2024 and July 2025 — it is an established, working program, not a pilot.
Cosmos Immigration provides structured planning, documentation preparation and case management for Saudi Premium Residency. Because this is a government-administered Saudi residence program, applications are prepared and submitted through government-authorised agents and, where legal input is required, regulated legal practitioners in our network. Cosmos coordinates eligibility, documentation and case management throughout.
Because Saudi Premium Residency is residence and not citizenship, India's dual-citizenship bar, renunciation rules and OCI provisions do not apply — an Indian national keeps their Indian passport throughout. Salary-based Special Talent and Gifted routes funded from Saudi-source income do not raise any India outward-remittance question.
The capital-transfer tiers are different. The Investor route (~SAR 7 million), the Real Estate Owner route (over ~SAR 4 million), the Entrepreneur route, and the SAR 800,000 contribution all involve moving funds out of India, so the Reserve Bank of India's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) cap applies to the outward remittance — timing and structuring matter.
This is general information, not financial, tax, or legal advice. Remittances are governed by RBI regulations under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme and your bank's compliance requirements — consult a qualified chartered accountant or your authorised dealer bank before moving funds.

No. Saudi Premium Residency is a self-sponsored residence status, not a route to a Saudi passport — there is no pathway to Saudi nationality through it. It does grant the right to live, own property and run a business in the Kingdom, plus family sponsorship and visa-free exit and re-entry.
The two contribution tiers are roughly SAR 100,000 per year (renewable limited duration) and roughly SAR 800,000 as a one-time payment (unlimited duration). Category routes instead carry a standard government processing fee of about SAR 4,000. Use these as ranges; exact figures are confirmed after assessment.
No. Premium Residency is self-sponsored across all tiers — that independence from an employer or local sponsor is the point of the program. Holders can sponsor family, own property, conduct business, and are exempt from expat dependent fees, with freedom to leave and re-enter the Kingdom.
It depends on your profile. Salaried specialists and executives usually fit Special Talent; people deploying capital fit Investor or Entrepreneur; property owners fit Real Estate Owner; and anyone who simply wants to pay for residence uses the contribution tiers. A free assessment matches your file to the right one before you commit.
No. The reported ultra-high-net-worth track and a superyacht-owner pathway have appeared in the press as measures under government consideration, but no official launch is confirmed as of June 2026. We treat them as exploratory and do not process applications for tiers that are not yet live.
