- Human Capital Category;
- Employer Job Offer Category;
- Business Category.
The Human Capital Category is for skilled workers, French-speaking skilled workers, and tradespeople. It’s for international grads with a Master’s or PhD from an Ontario university. You don’t need a job offer to apply through this category. The Employer Job Offer Category is for candidates who have a job offer from an employer in Ontario willing to nominate them.

If you have a Masters or PhD from an Ontario university, then the following streams are part of the OINP’s Expression of Interest System. You have to fill out an expression of interest and get invited to apply if you want to qualify.
Masters Graduate stream
Apply to the Masters Graduate stream if you have a masters from an Ontario university.
PhD Graduate stream
Apply for the PhD stream if you have a PhD from an Ontario university.
