Free Saskatchewan PNP Eligibility Check — find out if your occupation falls in a priority or capped sector.
Get AssessmentSINP runs two program categories: International Skilled Worker (Employment Offer, plus Tech Talent, Agriculture Talent, Health Talent and Innovation and Tech Talent pathways) for applicants outside Saskatchewan, and Saskatchewan Experience for people already living and working in the province, including a Student category for recent graduates on a post-graduate work permit.
| Sector group | Allocation |
| Priority Sectors — Healthcare, Agriculture, Skilled Trades, Energy, Mining & Minerals, Manufacturing, Technology | Minimum 50% of total allocation, incl. 750+ spots reserved for Saskatchewan grads with a priority-sector job offer |
| Accommodation & Food Services | Capped at 15% |
| Trucking | Capped at 5% |
| Retail Trade | Capped at 5% |
The honest note. Capped sectors fill fast — Saskatchewan's own 2026 data shows some capped-sector intake windows reaching their position limit the same day they open. If your occupation sits in a capped sector, timing your application matters as much as eligibility.
Saskatchewan's SINP has two program categories: International Skilled Worker, for people outside Saskatchewan applying with an employment offer or through sector pathways (Tech Talent, Agriculture Talent, Health Talent, Innovation and Tech Talent), and Saskatchewan Experience, for foreign nationals already living and working in the province, including a Student category for recent graduates with a valid post-graduate work permit.
At least 50% of Saskatchewan's total nomination allocation is reserved for priority sectors: Healthcare, Agriculture, Skilled Trades, Energy, Mining and Minerals, Manufacturing, and Technology. A minimum of 750 nominations within that allocation are specifically reserved for graduates of Saskatchewan designated learning institutions with a job offer in one of those sectors. Food Service and Accommodation is capped at 15% of the total allocation, and Trucking and Retail Trade are each capped at 5%.
Saskatchewan's target is to process International Skilled Worker and Saskatchewan Experience applications within 16 weeks. Q1 2026 figures show the Employment Offer category averaging around 3 weeks, and the Tech Talent and Health Talent pathways averaging around 2 weeks — these are recent processing averages, not guarantees, and can shift with application volume.
