  • Financial capacity: The living-cost benchmark has been uplifted (currently around AUD 29,710) and is reviewed periodically.
  • Visa application charge: Increased in 2024 (base VAC); further adjustments have been reported in 2025. We confirm the exact fee at lodgement to avoid mistakes.
