Cosmos Immigration is a Dubai-based Australia visa company with MARA-licensed advisors guiding UAE residents through every Australia visit visa pathway. Whether you are applying for an Australia visit visa from Dubai for tourism, a family reunion, a business meeting, or a frequent-traveller arrangement, the right subclass — and the right supporting documentation — determines whether your application is decided in days or refused outright.

Who needs an Australia visit visa from UAE?

The eligibility for visa-free or simplified-electronic-entry (the ETA Subclass 601 and eVisitor Subclass 651) is restricted to passport holders of approximately 45 approved countries. UAE residents holding non-eligible passports — including most South Asian, Middle Eastern, and African nationalities resident in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Sharjah — must apply for the Visitor Visa Subclass 600. This is the most common Australia visit visa from UAE for our clients.

The three Australia visit visa pathways

  • Subclass 600 — Visitor Visa. The primary australia tourist visa from uae for non-ETA-eligible passport holders. Five streams: Tourist, Business Visitor, Frequent Traveller, Sponsored Family, and Approved Destination Status. Stays of 3, 6, or 12 months depending on stream and decision.
  • Subclass 601 — Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). For 45 eligible passport nationalities. Issued electronically, valid 12 months, multiple short visits up to 3 months each.
  • Subclass 651 — eVisitor. For European Union and select European passport holders. Free of charge, online application, 12 months validity.

What you need for a Subclass 600 from the UAE

The vast majority of australia visit visa from uae applications go through Subclass 600. The Department of Home Affairs decisions hinge on three things: that you have genuine reason to visit, that you have the means to support yourself in Australia, and that you have strong ties bringing you back to the UAE.

  • Identity and travel documents — passport with at least 6 months validity, UAE residence visa, Emirates ID.
  • Financial evidence — recent salary certificates, 6 months of bank statements showing settled balances and consistent inflows. Sponsor financials if a relative or business in Australia is sponsoring the visit.
  • Ties to the UAE — employment letter (with leave approval and return date), property documents, family in the UAE, ongoing business interests. This is the single most important refusal-prevention factor for our caseload.
  • Itinerary and accommodation — flight reservations (not necessarily paid tickets), hotel or sponsor address, day-by-day itinerary for the Tourist stream.
  • Health and character — health declaration, police clearance certificates if requested, statutory declaration where applicable.

Refusal causes — and how Cosmos addresses them

Australia visit visa refusals from the UAE typically fall into four categories. Each is preventable when the application is structured properly.

  • Insufficient ties to the UAE. A single-source income with no property, no family in the country, no future-dated work commitments — profile reads as “intends to overstay.” Cosmos rebuilds the ties evidence narrative for every applicant before submission.
  • Inconsistent or insufficient financial evidence. Recent large deposits without source explanation, balances that don't match the stated salary, or salary slips that don't match employment letters all trigger officer scrutiny.
  • Previous visa refusals not disclosed. Australia, like most jurisdictions, treats non-disclosure as an integrity issue independent of the merits of the original application. Disclosed and contextualised, a prior refusal is recoverable. Hidden, it can cause permanent inadmissibility.
  • Statement-of-purpose contradictions. A “business meeting” cover letter on a Tourist stream application, or an itinerary that doesn't match the stated purpose, surfaces under officer review.

Processing time and fees (review-dated)

As of last reviewed: 2026-05-06, the Department of Home Affairs publishes Subclass 600 (Tourist stream, lodged outside Australia) median processing time at approximately 21 days for 50% of applications and approximately 4 months for 90%. Visa application charges and any additional Cosmos professional fees are quoted on consultation; we do not publish fixed prices because the right stream and document set depend on individual circumstances. Processing times and government fees are subject to change — verify current figures with your Cosmos advisor at the time of application.

Why Cosmos for your uae visa Australia matter

Cosmos Immigration was founded in Dubai in 2014. Our team includes 3+ MARA-registered Australian migration agents, alongside CICC-licensed Canadian consultants and IAA-licensed UK advisors at firm level — the credentials your file will actually be handled under, not branded badges.

  • MARA registration. Australian regulatory law restricts who can charge a fee to give Australian migration advice. Always check your advisor's MARA number before sharing personal documents.
  • Refusal-prevention discipline. Every visit visa application is structured around the ties-to-UAE narrative before any forms are filled.
  • Consultation-first process. A 30-minute consultation establishes whether the visit visa is the right pathway at all — or whether a different visa class (working, sponsored, family) better matches your circumstances.
