You will repay any kind of social assistance given to your family after they get their PR.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step by Step Guide to apply for Family Sponsorship.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1:- Check if you qualify as a sponsor<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To qualify as a sponsor, the IRCC has laid out certain rules:-&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The sponsor must be at least 18 years and above.<\/li><li>The sponsor must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.<\/li><li>The sponsor must prove his financial stability.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Must provide basic needs like food, shelter, and clothes to your family.&nbsp;<\/li><li>If a relative relies on social assistance, the sponsor must pay it back.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2:- Confirm people eligible for sponsorship<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can sponsor the following people:-&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Spouse&nbsp;<\/li><li>Common-law partner&nbsp;<\/li><li>Conjugal partner&nbsp;<\/li><li>Dependent Children<\/li><li>Blood-related or adopted parents and grandparents.<\/li><li>Relatives like a brother, sister, uncle, aunt, but under specific circumstances.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3:- Apply for Sponsorship<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For this you have to submit the sponsorship and <a href=\"https:\/\/cosmosimmigration.com\/canada-skilled-migration-visa\">PR application<\/a> together.
